  • SAT/ACT scores are a must for any US college, be it private or public. You will need a minimum score of 600 on the SATs, but mind you, if you aim for an IVY league or other such top colleges, prepare for nothing less than a 1400.
  • A minimum GPA score of 2.5 is also required for admission to most colleges. Here also the higher the better for top colleges
  • A very well-written Statement of Purpose+ Letter of Recommendation from authorities of the previous educational institution.
  • An entry-level score on English proficiency tests like IELTS/TOEFL.
  • Extracurricular activities, internships, sports, and community service work is also highly valued by American universities. Having these could ease your way into the university.
  • Work experience, if any (not mandatory)
